Orange paint sits on the raised faces of the letters and nowhere else, so LAMBORGHINI reads warm across a housing sunk entirely in one coat of sky blue, bolts and flanges included. Below the word, cast numerals and a small oval foundry stamp keep their blue and survive only as relief, while a triangular maker's mark presses into the same grainy surface at either end of the name.
